Position Summary:

As a Managed Services Engineer, you will be maintaining the IT environment of our clients through proactive monitoring of systems, endpoint management, patching, and incident response. You will serve as a primary technical contact for our managed services customers, providing uptime, quickly addressing problems, and upholding best practices on hardware and software platforms.

Strong troubleshooting skills, client communication skills, and experience with hands- on systems administration in Windows or hybrid environments are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remotely manage client environments using tools to assist servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Routine system maintenance, software update, and patch management to maintain system integrity.
  • Offer 2/3 technical support for advanced issues, such as endpoint failure, backup failure, and connectivity issues.
  • Aid in the onboarding of new clients by setting up devices, user accounts, security tools, and access rights.
  • Document repeated issues, root cause solutions, and standard operating procedures for efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • With project teams and account managers to align with client business objectives from a technical perspective.
  • Monitor systems and react to alerts to achieve service level agreements (SLAs) and client satisfaction.
  • Know and provide services under the vCloud Tech Managed Services offerings, including all components of the service catalog.
  • Maintain endpoint security, user access controls, and system hardening according to industry’s best practices and client-specific policy.
  • Oversee technical phases of customer engagement, with the guarantee that solutions are rolled out as planned and to customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, organize, and execute cutting-edge technology solutions aligned to customer specifications.
  • Provide technical documentation of high quality in accordance with acceptable templates and standards.
  • Take responsibility for tasks and see them through on projects and debugging until completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience of managed services, technical support, or IT infrastructure positions
  • Solid understanding of Cloud environment (AWS), Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Windows servers, workstations, networking, and endpoint security
  • Background of escalated support situations and remote monitoring tools (RMM) management
  • Skill to document technical processes and adhere to structured workflows
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS) are an added advantage
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or managed services.
  • Exceptional Windows OS (desktop/server) and patching utility as well as Active Directory skills.
  • General knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Independent work ability, prioritization of issues, and response deadline meeting.

Salary Range:

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $92,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
